Sourced from Roy’s Hill and Mere Road Vineyards, this Chardonnay is made from Mendoza and Clone 15 fruit, two clones prized for their low to moderate yields and depth of flavour.Aromatically, the wine opens with ripe stone fruit, complemented by subtle nutty characters and a fine lees note. The palate is generous and layered, with rich peach and nectarine flavours, a creamy texture, and an impressively long finish.

Only five barrels were produced.

93 Points | Excellent.

Toasty baked stone fruits bouquet with barrel spices and peach, nectarine and apple, vanilla custard and clove, smoky wood and plenty of youthful energy. There’s a lovely weight and tension as the wine touches the palate captured by acidity and fine tannins, fruit flavours mirror the bouquet and warming alcohol adds to a satin-cream mouthfeel. Well made with persistent fruit and wood flavours. Best drinking from mid to late 2024 through 2029.
