This Chardonnay is from fruit from both our Roy’s Hill and Mere Road Vineyards. The clones of Chardonnay are Mendoza and Clone 15 which both produce low to moderate yields and rich fruit flavours.
Colour: Medium gold.
Aromatics: This Chardonnay has a rich bouquet with stonefruit and citrus notes plus a hint of toastiness.
Palate: On the palate, it has rich peach and nectarine flavours, with notes of brioche and butterscotch and a long finish. Suitable for vegans.
Region: Gimblett Gravels Wine Growing District®, Hawke’s Bay.

Vinification: Whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented.
