Certified organic, the 2019 vintage (4.5*) is a single-vineyard wine, estate-grown at Roys Hill. Fermented and matured for six months in French oak barrels, it was given a full, softening malolactic fermentation. Bright, light yellow/green, it is fresh, full-bodied, sweet-fruited and generous, with concentrated stonefruit flavours, well-integrated oak and a well-rounded finish. Still youthful but already drinking well, it should be at its best 2021+.
90 points. Restrained, fruit-focused chardonnay with apricot, peach, ginger, toasted nut and a hint of caramel. It has an attractively smooth, almost creamy, texture 24/2/2020
