This Chardonnay is from fruit from our Roy’s Hill Vineyard. The clone of Chardonnay is Clone 15 which produces low to moderate yields and rich fruit flavours. Only two barrels were made.

Aromatics: This Chardonnay has a rich bouquet with stonefruit and citrus notes plus a hint of toastiness.
Palate: On the palate, it has nectarine and peach flavours with a hint of butterscotch and a leesy note. Suitable for vegans.
Region: Gimblett Gravels Wine Growing District®, Hawke’s Bay.
Vineyard: Roy’s Hill.
Harvest: Hand harvested.
Vinification: Whole bunch pressed and barrel fermented.
Maturation: Matured in French oak for 6 months.
Bottled: 8th October 2019.
Analysis: Alc 13% vol.
Fining: Fined with pea protein.
Production: 60 cases.
Cellaring Potential: 4-5 years.
